Music Industry Veteran Cary Baker Launches New Music Publicity Company: Conqueroo
SHERMAN OAKS, CA (ContentDesk) April 12, 2004 -– Cary Baker, a industry publicity executive for more than 20 years, has announced the launch of his new publicity company, Conqueroo. The new Los Angeles-based company will represent such artists and projects as J.J. Cale, Gingersol, Robert Earl Keen, Anne McCue, James McMurtry, Vernon Reid, Chris Stamey, Tres Chicas, Ponderosa Stomp and the Americana Association Conference plus more to follow.Baker leaves The Baker Media Group, where he was a founding partner. He previously served as VP of Publicity at Capitol Records, I.R.S. Records, Discovery Records and Morgan Creek Records.
